Join our Winter 2026 Teasettes series for a saucy holiday performance with a swirling dress, a giant candy cane and tons of cheeky attitude!
The routine dance style combines classic-era movie musicals with risqué accents to the Big Band hit: My Sugar Is So Refined by Johnny Mercer.
This series will be led by BodyMagick Temple Instigator in Chief, Eva D'Luscious.
Come spice up the winter holidays and the stage with us!
Teasettes series includes six instructional classes and a final dress rehearsal for those ready to shine under the spotlight.
These series are open to newer and experienced dancers, and all bodies and gender identities.
To ensure an intimate and impactful experience, we limit the number of performers to eight. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to those who send their rehearsal payment first.
Participating in our final performance is optional. If you choose to perform, you will attend an additional rehearsal and purchase the costume pieces listed below, or pull similar items from your closet. Please see instructions below for adding the Performance Rehearsal to your registration.
Seize the opportunity to become a part of the Teasettes legacy and bring your captivating presence to our stage!

YOUR INSTRUCTOR: EVA D'LUSCIOUS
I'm Eva D'Luscious, BodyMagick Instigator in Chief. I'm serving Self Love with a side of sequins and sass, and a dash of Witch in The Woods earthiness.
I've been bumping and grinding the patriarchy away since 2010. Guiding women, femmes and fabulous weirdos to reclaim their radiance through movement, sensuality and joy. Often called the “Godmother of Glitter,” my offerings are crafted to help you attune to your body’s wisdom, honor your authentic self and have a damn good time!
From stages, to somatic movement and Burlesque classes, to retreats for self-expression and sensual healing, to monthly online New Moon Circles, I welcome all who want to explore radical self-love and joyful expression, and especially resonate with fellow moms and menopausal babes.
Whether we're dancing in the studio or glittering on stage, you and your body are worth celebrating and I'm hosting the party!
** ATTENDANCE **
Because this is a group act, missing class impacts everyone. We understand missing because of illness or Life/Work emergencies, but if you know you'll miss more than one class, please join the Waitlist for a future series.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much dance experience do it need for these series?
We craft these series to be approachable for new dancers and enjoyable for more experienced performers. We've had Teasettes who have never been on stage before, and those with years of experience. These acts focus more on expressing your inner sass and teaching Burlesque Basics, than on intricate movement.
That said, there's an expectation that everyone practices the routine outside of class, asks for help when they need it, and brings their best to the stage.
What's the refund policy?
Since this is limited to a set number of people, each registrant is holding a slot for themselves that no one else can take. If Life gets wild, please contact us. We can likely fill your slot if notified BEFORE the series begins. If we can fill your slot, we'll refund you the series cost, less $30 to cover credit card costs and our time contacting other dancers.
There are NO REFUNDS after the series begins.
What do I need for class?
To start with, an open mind and positive attitude toward learning and working within a group. Also water and any snacks you need to stay fueled during class meetings.
If the series asks for dance shoes, bring them to every class as soon as you have them. Dress in layers of well-fitting, easy to move in clothes.
If you plan to perform, it's best to get the Costume Pieces as quickly as possible, especially the top layers that will be peeled off. Allow as much time as possible for custom pieces. We'll email you the complete list upon registration, and you can email us if you have further questions.
What if I can't make a class or would arrive late?
We prefer everyone to be in every class because this is a group act and missing impacts everyone. If you have a major work or family event, we get it. If you know you'll miss 1 class, email the instructor so they're aware of that. Planning to miss more than 1 class will impact the experience and performance for everyone, so please join the Waitlist for a future series.
Arriving 10 minutes or less late because you're coming from work, or another important life thing, can be managed, but please email info(at)bodymagicktemple.com so we can connect you with the instructor to discuss this before you register. Being consistently late due to lack of time management is not acceptable.
DO NOT attend if you're ill; just email the instructor.
If you miss a class, we expect you to practice with the videos at home and keep up with the costuming so you can rejoin the next class easily.
What happens at the Showcase?
The Big Fun!
Here's the breakdown of the evening:
6:15pm Call Time. You must be at Mission Theater so that you can dress for Tech.
7:30pm Tech. Be in costume and shoes (if applicable), with MakeUp & Hair Ready. Your instructor will take you through the routine at least once. Following practice, you will pose for photos with our photographer.
7:45pm House Opens. This is when people are let in to be seated. You can visit with your Friends, Family & Fans or get in our photo booth. We recommend wearing a robe or some sort of cover-up so that you don't give away the surprise of the act.
8:45pm -- All performers Backstage
9:00pm Showtime! Teasettes open our Showcases. After performing, you're welcome to sit with your people.
11pm-ish Curtain Call. When the show ends, all performers are called back on stage for Curtain Call when we'll pose for photos by our photographer and the audience.
11:30pm Hard Out. Everyone affiliated with the Showcase and all their belongings must be cleared out of the venue. We usually head to a nearby bar for a post-show celebration.
