So you don't recognize that your upset stomach is telling you to slow down and take time before making a decision or committing to something with another person.

You're anxious when you sit down to rest because your mind keeps listing all the things you need to do.

You aren't even sure what your boundaries are because you've become so used to pushing beyond them. You only know that you're tried and overwhelmed.

You keep hanging out with people who don't reciprocate the care you give to them and leave you disappointed and resentful.

I've been in all of these places. I know how deep the hole can get before you start taking steps to get yourself out. I was heading for a divorce before I realized that the most important person to connect with is myself.

And I know from working with many women that it's possible to claim your power and live in joy, as your true self with people who love and support you just for being you.

The place to begin is with Devotion to yourself so you can get clear on your hopes and desires, know when it's time to set a boundary or say "No," remain grounded when life gets stormy, and stay focused on your highest good, even if it means leaving people and situations that aren't loving you back.

And your body holds the key!

Bodies don't lie. While your mind can get caught up in "shoulds," "what ifs," and expectations from family and society, your body knows what's real. This isn't Woo stuff, this is science. We literally evolved to use our senses for protection and information.

But we've just been taught that bodies are gross, having emotions is immature and that authority figures know what's better for us than we do.

Tuning into your body so that you can receive your own deep wisdom is how you come to know yourself and gracefully step into your power.

That is Confidence! Trusting yourself so that you can live authentically with compassion for yourself and others, and no need for apology.

The most direct and supportive path I've found to unlocking the wisdom of our own bodies is through dance.

Not the sort of dance you see on stage to entertain or entice an audience. But dance where you let it all go, move as your body desires, welcome all the parts of yourself, celebrate where you are right here, right now, and allow yourself to witness the challenges you're experiencing.

I got the most value out of the parts that offered alternative ways of thinking/doing. It went beyond “don’t hold onto limiting beliefs” and gave tangible steps to replacing our old bad habits with healthier ones. I think that’s really key for creating change.

It’s hard enough to break habits, but significantly harder if you don’t have something to fill the empty space the old habit leaves behind. I loved replacing habits and mindsets that don’t serve me with much more empowering, healthy, and enjoyable habits and mindsets.

Before joining this program I had no clue how to rock performing with confidence. I didn't quite know moves to do, therefore I'd get stuck in my head and start to doubt myself. The most valuable part of the program was learning confidence-boosting mental hacks while also practicing dance so I could keep my mental chatter to a minimum.

I'm your fierce, weird Auntie holding space for you to be vulnerable and try on different movements and new ways of being without judgement.

My mission is to reveal your highest, most shining self and I won’t buy into your previous stories about limitations. I will hold a loving mirror up for you to see your true strength and beauty in being soft and flexible enough to shift, and powerful enough to claim your glorious self.

In our meetings we'll process energy and emotions in a protected container, through guided movement and discussion with plenty of encouragement and lots of humor (I’ll probably drop an F Bomb here and there). In these sessions, you have space to explore connecting with your sacred power that society has told you are off limits or shameful to discuss.
Embodied Change

Though we are talking about profound spiritual concepts and creating shifts in our minds, we live in bodies. I’ll help you develop a practice to ground positive mindset concepts in your body, so you won’t be swirling about them in your head, instead you’ll be taking life changing action.

These are the same techniques I live myself, and have shared with students and friends who continue blossoming in their personal and professional lives.

Personal healing can be hard, messy and not always fun. Sometimes we're in survival mode, or don't have space or capacity for doing deep work. I endeavor to make this as welcoming and supportive as possible, I'm here to support you, and this is still tough stuff.

To create the life you want you'll have to release some old stories and ways of being and stop fighting for your limitations. You may very likely release some people from your life. I make no claim that this is easy, only that it's worth it.

Though I continue training and learning how best to support my clients, I’m not a professionally trained therapist. The BodyMagick Confidence Vault is a great companion to working with a trained counselor, but it isn’t a replacement.

It's taken me years to release People Pleasing, Perfectionism and the habit of valuing external validation over my own wisdom.

Yes, even as a Burlesque performer I struggled to be Confident in myself because I was disconnected from my emotions, unable to ground them and often disociating through lengthy To-Do Lists.

I'm blessed to have dance as a guiding light throughout my life, a very willful streak that has continued pushing me to find myself, and relentless optimism for supporting other women to do the same.
