You Spin Me Right ‘Round! Make A Panel Skirt on the Fly!
Do you have fabric, elastic, and a dream of floating fabric spins? This simple 90-minute class will walk you through creating one half of a panel skirt, which can then be duplicated at home to complete the look!
With minimal math, this accessible course can be done successfully at any level, and can be as simple or complex as you desire.
This class is best done on a machine, but hand-sewing is possible. BodyMagick Temple will provide tables, chairs and extension cords for your machine. A list of other materials to bring will be sent upon registration.

My name is Force Majeure, a recent Portland transplant by way of Detroit MI! I am an award-winning and title-holding burlesque performer and costumer, a transgender human, and above all, a passionate artist. I have been performing burlesque for 7 years, but sewing for decades!
I’m looking forward to empowering all performers to create the art they want to with the skills they need to do it. I’ve taught many classes through the Metro Detroit Burlesque Academy, including pattern drafting, headdress construction, costume cohesion, and more!
